The National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (MNACTEC) is from 14 July until 27 September playing host to the travelling exhibition “The Stereoscopic Pyrenees of Josep Forns i Olivella. Photographs from the 1920s and 30s"” . The exhibition rediscovers a major and unpublished stereoscopic collection of images of the Pyrenees taken by photographer Josep Forns i Olivella in the 1920s and 30s and held at the MNACTEC.
The exhibition is the product of a combined project by the IDAPA (Institute for Development and Promotion of the High Pyrenees and Aran), the MNACTEC, the Network of Museums and Heritage Facilities of the High Pyrenees and Aran, the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia, and the Àneu Valleys Ecomuseum.
