This notebook explains the role of wheat in human ecology and culture, current uses of the agricultural landscape, and the socio-environmental issues with our food consumption model. All this is linked to the Castelló d'Empúries Flour Mill, providing an understanding of the technological process of milling grain, and a view of one of the most significant geographical landscapes of Catalonia.
