Paper is one of the most important of human inventions, and alongside printing allowed for the development of science, communication and the spread of culture. It would be very hard to imagine a world without paper: for newspapers, packaging, toilet paper, for writing and a long list of other uses. This publication reflects the huge diversity of aspects in connection with the current process of paper manufacturing: the resources, the processes for producing pulp and paper, the reuse and recycling of paper and cardboard.
