Vermut jazz concert in the historic courtyard of the mNACTEC

The Museum will be holding an open day from 10.00 to 14.30 and a guided visit to the vaults of the Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover factory

Another year the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (mNACTEC) is hosting the traditional vermut jazz concert in its historic courtyard as part of the 37th Terrassa Jazz Festival. The concert on Sunday 11 March at 1.00 pm will be headlined by Benjamí León on the organ, Dave Mitchell on guitar and Adrià Font on drums.

Vermut jazz concert

A concert in the style of the Hammond organ trio and inspired by hard bop. The selection recovers the music of major international figures of the organ such as Lou Bennett and Jimmy Smith, while also providing versions of other songs.

  • At 13.00 in the historic courtyard of mNACTEC.
  • Tickets cost 1 euro. Reservations can be made through the mNACTEC webpage until the Friday before the event at 13.00. From that point on bookings will be made over the telephone.

Open doors day

mNACTEC is offering entry free-of-charge from 10.00 to 14.30.

Walk around the vault

As a special activity a walk will be organised around the vaults of the roof of the Aymerich, Amat i Jover factory, providing a new perspective of this exceptional building by the architect Muncunill.
