The MNACTEC is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
During the summer period (from 15 June to 15 September), the opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Museum is closed on Mondays (except for the Monday of the Terrassa City Festival and the National Day of Catalonia), 1 and 6 January, and 25 and 26 December.

Standard tickets cost 6 euros, while the reduced rate is 4 euros. Under-16s enter free of charge. The relevant accreditation must be shown in order to benefit from the reduced price or free entry.

Yes. The Museum is free of charge to under-16s and those eligible for free entry. Entry is free on the first Sunday each month, and there are various open days throughout the year.

There is no need for prior bookings for individual visits. For groups, it is highly advisable to book. For educational activities and group guided tours, bookings are essential.

The Museum reception desk takes payment by card and in cash. Schools and groups can pay by bank transfer.
The general entry fee includes access to permanent and temporary exhibitions, but does not include the activities.

No, the Museum only has parking for people with reduced mobility.
We recommend parking in the public Town Hall and Market car park (beneath Raval de Montserrat). There is also a blue parking zone on the streets Galileu and Arquímedes. Rambla d’Égara is closed to traffic.

Yes, schools can make use of the Museum courtyard to have their lunch and/or snack and to rest. If it is raining, they should go to reception to be given instructions by the attendants there.
Yes, private buses are allowed to drive along Rambla d’Égara. Right next to the Museum, alongside the Terrassa Cultural Centre, there is a bus stop to drop off and pick up passengers.
