The artist Mònica Planes has presented her work Pila. Pa, ferro, aigua, foc i morter de ciment [Pile. Bread, iron, water, fire and cement mortar], created specifically for the National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia (MNACTEC). The work forms part of the project “Past/Present”, a series of artistic interventions at four Catalan heritage sites, curated by Frederic Montornés, and organised by the Directorate-General for Cultural Promotion and Libraries, and the Catalan Cultural Heritage Agency. Pila will be on display in the steam gallery of the MNACTEC until 12 February.
