The National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia (MNACTEC) will during February 2020 be taking part in the 7th Energy Saving Marathon, promoted by the ICAEN (Catalan Energy Institute). The campaign aims to raise awareness and encourage good practice for energy use and consumption at public amenities and buildings, with the goal of achieving energy savings and using the money saved for initiatives to counter energy poverty.
The scheme was devised by l'Origen, an innovation, ecology and communication firm which patented the 'REM' energy reduction and improvement methodology which it applies in developing the initiative.
