Large wooden lock and key, with two carved pieces which fit two wooden pieces or fixtures. The bolt moves freely when the key turns and lifts the fixtures.
The lock is presented on a wooden base and protected on the reverse by a screwed-on sheet of perspex. The wooden lock is one of the first produced in Ancient Egypt after experiencing successive modifications. This lock in particular comes from Ribera del Gállego and was in use until 1930.

Iron lock comprising a square box heavily decorated with floral elements, with a simple locking mechanism. The bolt has been lost. The locking spring has a simple S shape.
It has a latch decorated with two imaginary animals, and an architectural feature in the form of a tower. The corresponding key is a female design made of iron, with a hooked bit, collar and decorated ring in the form of a heart. The keyhole has a complex hooked form, of a type produced from the 17th century onwards.
