With the aim of offering a more complete experience and a better visitor service, the mNACTEC has opened a new facility serving coffee, wine and snacks, La Fàbrica 1909, on the premises of the Museum. The new venue offers a cafeteria and snacks service in the mornings, and tapas and wines by the glass in the afternoon and evening, with a dynamic menu featuring seasonal produce.
The new premises, with an entrance on Rambla d’Ègara and via the Museum's historic courtyard, can seat 40 diners within and 60 on the terrace, which stands on the Museum courtyard itself. La Fàbrica 1909 is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 09:00 to 16:00 hours on Tuesdays and Sundays, and from 09:00 to 16:00 and 19:00 to 23:00 from Wednesday to Saturday.
The decor of the new premises respects the structure of the former Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover building, while the interior design continues the manufacturing aesthetic of the rest of the Museum.
