To mark Science Week, the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (MNACTEC) is organising a range of activities free of charge, most notably a discussion about the existence of life beyond Earth, courtesy of Joan Anton Català Amigó, and the children's workshop “Journey into the fascinating world of the transistor”, to be conducted jointly with the Microelectronics Institute of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC).
Science Week, which is now in its 28th year, will be held from 10 to 19 November and focuses on all sectors of the public, with the aim of bringing citizens into closer contact with science and technology, and encouraging youngsters to take up a career in science.
