In 2017 the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (mNACTEC) welcomed 129,327 visitors at its central headquarters in Terrassa in 2017. This figure constituted a 22.46% increase over the previous year.
Of the total of visitors to the Terrassa branch, 52.32% were individual visitors, 45.51% schoolchildren and the remaining 2.16% were other groups of visitors.
The noticeable increase in visitors in the year 2017 was thanks to the exhibition “Leonardo da Vinci: the genius and his inventions” and an expanded programme of activities throughout the year. In addition, a noticeable increase in school visitors was recorded.
In the last four years, mNACTEC has practically doubled the number of visitors, from 64,904 visitors in 2013 to 129,327 in 2017.
