On 6 and 7 December the Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (MNACTEC) was the venue for Hispabrick Magazine Event 2014, the gathering of LEGO® construction fans. The event is organised by Hispabrick Magazine, in partnership with the MNACTEC.
Hispabrick Magazine Event is an activity intended to bring children, youngsters and adults into closer contact with the world of LEGO® construction, through an exhibition of models and creations covering various themes built from LEGO®, while the youngest visitors can attend creative construction workshops, along with a treasure hunt featuring giant LEGO® models hidden around the Museum, and a robotics demonstration with a LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 race.
This year marks the 6th edition of the gathering, being staged for the third time at the MNACTEC. The exhibition for this edition featured dioramas on the following themes: Star Wars, the mediaeval period, a space base, city and the Wild West. Likewise on display were military vehicles, spacecraft and sculptures of TV personalities built from LEGO® pieces. A section dedicated to Technic robotics and construction elements using LEGO® was also set up.
