European Heritage Days 2019

Special guided visits and the ‘WOMEN POETS in centre stage’ recital will be on offer

The weekend of 12-13 October, the Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (mNACTEC) will be hosting open door days and different activities to coincide with the celebration of the 2019 European Heritage Days. Notable proposals this year include the recital ‘WOMEN POETS in centre stage’, with the actor Joan Massotkleiner and the musician Toti Soler; guided visits of the roof vaults and storerooms of the mNACTEC, and dramatised visits to the textile factory.

European Heritage Days are held yearly throughout Europe. Palaces, castles, monasteries, sites, historic gardens and other heritage spaces including museums will open their doors to citizens who will be able to enjoy free visits and to learn much more about their heritage.

Entrance to the Museum will be free throughout the weekend. The programmed activities are also free but booking beforehand on the Museum website is advised as there are limited spaces.
