On 6, 7 and 8 November, the National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia (MNACTEC) is playing host to the 13th Catalan Industrial Heritage Days, under the slogan "The Industrial Heritage of the 21st Century". The event is organised by the AMCTAIC (Association of the Museum of Science and Technology and Industrial Archaeology of Catalonia) and its scientific committee, with the aim of presenting and hosting new visions and original studies in any of the fields linked to our nation's industrial, technical and scientific heritage.
The days will address some of the major current challenges, such as new uses of manufacturing spaces, the role of artificial intelligence in heritage management, sustainability and robotics, the role of women in industry, and the need to engage new generations in the preservation of industrial memory.
The Catalan Industrial Heritage Days have established their position as a forum for reflection, debate and networking among professionals, institutions and organisations linked to industrial heritage conservation and outreach in Catalonia.
The event is open to professionals, researchers, students, and anyone with an interest in the history and future of industrial heritage.
