Biosphere sustainability certification

The designation aims to spread a culture of sustainability among tourism services and companies

The National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia (MNACTEC) has renewed its "Biosphere Sustainability Commitment" mark for guaranteeing the quality and sustainability of tourism services. The accolade is awarded by Barcelona Provincial Authority, Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the Institute of Responsible Tourism.

The marks were handed out on 11 March, with 37 companies from the district receiving or renewing their Biosphere accreditation alongside the MNACTEC.
