Over the weekend of 14 and 15 October, the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (MNACTEC) is staging open days and a range of free activities to mark the 2023 European Heritage Days. This year's offering includes a magic lantern show courtesy of illusionist Sergi Buka, the second edition of the MNACTEC Inspira photography competition, guided tours of the roof vaults and the MNACTEC storage rooms, and dramatised tours of the textile factory.
The European Heritage Days are held yearly throughout Europe. Palaces, castles, monasteries, archaeological sites, historic gardens and museums will be opening their doors, allowing the public to enjoy free tours, and explore their heritage in depth.
The activities are free of charge and have limited capacity. Prior bookings are required via the website, by clicking on each activity and completing the booking form.
