Two new charging stations for electric vehicles

This is one of the environmental and sustainability actions planned by the Museum

The National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (mNACTEC) has installed two charging stations for electric vehicles in its car park and two more at the mNACTEC branch Castellar de n’Hug Asland Cement Museum. Use of these charging stations will be available to museum visitors free of charge.

As well as these four public charging stations, the mNACTEC has installed a further two for indoor use: in the storage facilities of mNACTEC in Cervera and inside the Terrassa branch. This last point will be used to charge the van for internal use within the mNACTEC, which is currently being retrofitted and will be electric.

This measure is among the environmental and sustainability measures of the Museum’s Social Responsibility Plan, with the collaboration of Terrassa company Circutor. In keeping with this mNACTEC will hold the 4th “We are electric!” congress on 6 and 7 June.
