The National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (mNACTEC) and its Territorial System are publishing issue number eight of their magazine Eix. Industrial, technological and scientific culture. The central feature of the magazine is dedicated to Workers’ housing, and shows how workers lived in workers’ cities and towns and industrial colonies.
As well as the central feature, the new publication presents 14 articles in total, including a visit to the Ecomuseum Flour Mill of Castelló d’Empúries with musician Marc Timón and articles dedicated to the irrigation canal in Manresa and the Escola Industrial de Barcelona. It is also worth highlighting the interview with the president of the Catalan Geographical Society, Josep Oliveras i Samitier, and a route through the iron and coal industry in Gipuzcoa.
