The Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (mNACTEC) is taking part in the Festa Major in Terrassa with open days on Sunday 1 and Monday 2 of July from 10.00 to 14.30 h, with various activities scheduled.
SUNDAY 1 JULY
Open day from 10.00 to 14.30h
10.30 h and 11.30 h | Walk around the vaults
Guided visit around the Museum vaults, a different look at the exceptional building by the architect Muncunill.
12.00 h and 13.00 h | Dramatized visit: “1909. A walk around the factory”
Itinerary through the former spaces of the textile factory in order to learn from historic figures about the production process of wool and the everyday life of workers in the early 20th century.
From 18.00 to 20.00 h, in the Museum courtyard | Children’s workshop: “Travelling!” (5 to 8 year olds)
Using very simple materials we will build two forms of transport : a ship and a plane! The ships will be tried out in basins full of water.
MONDAY 2 JULY
