In the light of recent events, the Government has passed further new measures to prevent and control SARS-CoV-2 infection, and has ordered the closure of public museum services and facilities in Catalonia.
The aim of this measure is to avoid any increased risk of contagion on the part of visitors and users, as well as museum staff.
Museums will be closed from today, 13 March 2020, for a period of at least 15 days, with the measure being subject to review in accordance with the evolving epidemiological situation.
