This guide examines Catalan industrial heritage, which has been the country’s economic driving force for centuries, through fifty enclaves scattered throughout the territory. This book compiles the articles published in Ara newspaper in summer 2018 to show spaces such as tanneries, wineries, foundries, steam-powered factories, mines, sawmills, etc.
Catalunya Industrial is author Daniel Romaní’s third publication on cultural heritage, edited jointly by Ara, Viena Edicions and the Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage of Generalitat de Catalunya, with the participation of the local governments of Barcelona, Lleida and Tarragona.
