Intended for children and a family readership, the Brief History of the National Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia offers youngsters an explanation of how Catalonia became industrialised, and the history of the museum's modernist building. From the arrival of steam engines, through the textile factory and down to the present day. The Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover has experienced hundreds of adventures, to become a landmark of Catalonia's industrial heritage.

The Editorial Mediterrània "Brief Histories" collection features more than 330 different titles, all illustrated by Pilarín Bayés. The collection provides children with an insight into the most notable artists, traditions, associations and places around Catalonia.
