The exhibition presents a collection of traditional knowledge to do with making toy ships, passed on by word-of-mouth from generation to generation. It offers us an insight through play and toys into the principles of boats and sailing, from a child's perspective.
A display of ethnological heritage which in many places has been lost to our collective memory.
The travelling exhibition is the result of a joint project by the Barcelona Maritime Museum and the Mallorca Maritime Museum.
