The National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (MNACTEC) collaborated in authoring the publication Industrial Heritage Routes, released by the Information and Tourism Outreach Service of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and the Catalan Cultural Heritage Agency.
The publication presents six main itineraries taking us on a journey through the industrial, technical and scientific heritage sites of Catalonia, to discover the most notable features of the different production sectors that are open to visitors.
The suggested routes cover the whole of Catalonia: from Maresme to Garraf via Pla de Barcelona; from Empordà to Garrotxa via Girona and the Costa Brava; from Camp de Tarragona to Priorat and Terres de l’Ebre; from Lleida to Vall d’Aran and the Pyrenees; from Vallès to Ripollès via the river valleys of the Ter and Freser and from the Llobregat to Cerdanya via inland Catalonia.
