An exhibition dossier covering 80 years of radio design and technology

It describes more than 100 radio receivers, reflecting the turbulent history of the 20th century. The radio is a humble, everyday item bringing together the needs and desires of humanity. From the first broadcasts to the digitisation of radio waves, designers, who have remained anonymous or unknown, have shown great ingenuity in incorporating the changes derived from technology, new materials, social customs and fashions, and even politics.
