The book presents a selection of the 100 Catalan industrial heritage elements approved by the AMCTAIC (Association of the Museum of Science and Technology and Industrial Archaeology of Catalonia), in 1987. The book serves to promote studies helping to explain and showcase industrial heritage, and raise public awareness as to the existence of an aspect of heritage that is often neglected.
