Women Mathematicians and Women in Science

"Women Mathematicians" is an exhibition organised by the Museum of Science and Water of Murcia in collaboration with a group of teachers from the Mar Menor District and the Department of Social Welfare and Promotion of Equality.The central strand of the exhibition is the life of 14 women dedicated to mathematics, presenting their contributions to the scientific field and emphasising the cultural and social difficulties they were forced to address in order to be able to pursue their true passion.

Within the games section, the exhibition is rounded off by two blocks: Four Activities from Four Women; visitors are presented individually with a series of games created by our protagonists, and Twelve Mathematical Games; a series of games aiming to demonstrate the players' skills and mastery in solving different games of logic, combination and probability, among others.
