MNACTEC Treasures: Typewriters

A setting for emotions and technology, to reinterpret the exhibits in the Museum's collections

MNACTEC Treasures is an exhibition space aiming to reinterpret the traditional idiom of the exhibits in a setting of emotions and technology.

The first exhibition in this space presents a journey through the technological evolution of writing machines. It will feature 18 writing machines and the audiovisual presentation "Writing Machines", treating visitors to a creative narrative based on a selection of writing machines from the MNACTEC collection, while positioning the exhibits within their cultural and social context.
