Different options for travelling to the museum

 

MNACTEC is located at Rambla d'Egara, 270, Terrassa. It can be accessed by private and public transport (FGCRenfe and Exprés.cat bus). 

 

By public transport

Consult the public transport map to access the Museum.

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC): The S1 Barcelona/Pl. Catalunya – Terrassa line connects the Museum with the centre of Barcelona and different towns in the Vallès. The nearest station to MNACTEC is Terrassa-Rambla. You can purchase a combined ticket which includes admission to the museum and travel on the FGC. Consult timetables.

Rodalies de Catalunya (RENFE): The R4 line in Rodalies de Catalunya covers the route between Sant Vicenç de Calders and Manresa, via Barcelona and Terrassa. The nearest Rodalies station to the Museum is Terrassa. Consult timetables.

Bus Exprés.cat: The e2 Barcelona – Terrassa line  on Exprés.cat leaves La Sagrera (Av. Meridiana with C. de Felip II, Barcelona), passing Fabra i Puig station, and continues straight to Terrassa, where it makes several stops. The nearest stop to the Museum is Institut Politècnic. By car

It is recommended to park the vehicle in the public car park at the Ajuntament i Mercat (under the Raval de Montserrat). There is also a blue zone parking spots on carrer Galileu and carrer Arquímedes. Rambla d’Ègara is closed to traffic.

Electric vehicle charging:  The MNACTEC has two electric charging points for vehicles. Visitors must request a charging card at reception.

 

By coach

Not far from the Museum, beside Terrassa Cultural Centre, there is a stop for picking up passengers and dropping them off. The interurban bus station of Terrassa is located on Rambla d'Ègara. Consult the map showing specific access for coaches. 

 

By bicycle

There is a public parking facility for bicycles at the disposal of visitors to the Museum on Rambla d'Ègara, by the entrance to the MNACTEC.

 

Loading and unloading of goods

Goods may be loaded and unloaded at three entrances to the Museum: on the streets of F. Bonaventura Gran and M. de Déu dels Àngels or on Rambla d'Ègara with prior authorization for the vehicle. Consult the map showing specific access for goods transport.
